'After the loss of her first born child Megan, Sandra begins a drug and alcohol fueled descent into her own mind in a desperate attempt to relive the lost memories of her daughter.'

Catharsis is director Jay Martins' short film debut. It is the culmination of a year and a half of passion, dedication, and commitment on behalf of the entire cast and crew, comprising of some of the most talented creatives in the UK. Catharsis premiered on July 11th, 2017, at the 'Celebrate Short Film Festival', in Nottingham, England. The film was awarded the converted 'Best Short Film', as well as a 'Best Director' win for first time director Jay Martin.
