Flare's founder and inventor, Davies Roberts, could not understand why traditional ear plugs were so bad at doing their job. When he looked into it, he realised that ear protection was taking the wrong path in using plastics, silicones and foams to absorb sound. He created the concept that is now known as the Flare ISOLATE® Ear defender. 

Louis Vella (studio3cine) teamed up with Raj Pathak (FilmMakerRaj) to create x3 Commercials for the new Flare ISOLATE® product. We shot a 15, 30 and 60 second version of their new advert on location at Flare HQ in Brighton. The blackout studio was lit by our in-house Gaffer and Lighting Designer Jamie Vella to meet the visual concept of Louis the Director of Photography and the project brief set out by Flare and Raj the Director. 

In Addition to the main product commercials, we shot a short Kickstarter campaign for the product. The video featured some interviews with the CEO of Flare Davies Roberts, we also filmed at their aerospace approved manufacturer to see how the Flare ISOLATE's were produced. We also shot some narrative scenes in Nottingham with some actors demonstrating how ISOLATES are used.
